Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits of GerardKing.Dev’s infrastructure and applications.

• Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies and procedures.

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, providing timely responses and resolutions.

• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation, including incident response plans and disaster recovery protocols.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively protect the organization.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure secure coding practices and adherence to industry standards.

• Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security analysis, or related fields.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident response.

• Proficiency in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and network security.

• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, AWS, and Azure.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA A+, IBM Cybersecurity Analyst) are highly desirable.
